Does Compflow use AI to calculate commissions?

No. Commissions are in the class of business problems where the answer has to be exactly right — alongside payroll, legal contracts, and financial reporting. A model that's 99.9% accurate still pays the wrong amount to 1 in 1,000 reps. That's a trust problem, not a rounding error. Compflow's math is deterministic. Every payout is traceable, explainable, and auditable. Where AI does belong: helping you design better comp plans, model quota scenarios, and surface insights from your payout data — before the math runs, not during it.

Why not just build this internally?

A lot of teams task engineers to build internal commission tools. It sounds cheaper.
